Custom Elevator Handrails

MODELS

We understand that every detail matters in elevator interior design. As the largest single manufacturer of elevator handrails in the industry, we design and manufacture high-quality elevator handrails that prioritize safety without compromising style or functionality. Our collection includes 14 proprietary elevator handrail designs—from classic round profiles to sculptural organic forms—with standard and fully customizable options to complement any elevator interior vision.

MADE IN THE USA

Our in-house manufacturing team designs and produces elevator handrails that meet all relevant safety codes, including ADA guidelines, 2001 California Building Code Chapter 30, and ASME A17.1. This ensures passenger safety, code compliance, and effortless functionality for everyone within the elevator cab. We don’t compromise on style either. Our elevator handrails are available in stainless steel, brass, bronze, copper, and powder coated steel with multiple finish options—allowing each elevator handrail to seamlessly integrate with your elevator interior’s overall design aesthetic.

One of our two most popular designs, the Flat Bar elevator handrail delivers bold architectural impact through its clean linear profile. Available in widths from 1.5″ to 10″ and thicknesses of 1/4″ or 3/8″, this versatile design serves as both handrail and crash rail in demanding elevator interiors. Offered in stainless steel, brass, bronze, copper, or powder coated steel. ADA and ASME 17.1 compliant.

The Round elevator handrail remains the most specified design in elevator interiors for good reason—the ergonomic profile fits comfortably in any hand, and cylindrical standoffs complement virtually any cab finish. Available in 1.25″ to 2″ diameters across stainless steel, brass, bronze, copper, or powder coated steel with brushed, mirror, or specialty finish options. ADA and ASME 17.1 compliant.

Our most exclusive design, the Canoe elevator handrail is machined from solid bar—not hollow tube—with signature flat paddle ends spanning 4″ to 10″ per customer specification. This furniture-grade construction delivers substantial weight and sculptural presence to luxury elevator interiors. Available in 1.5″ to 2″ diameters in stainless steel, brass, bronze, copper, or powder coated steel. ADA and ASME 17.1 compliant.

The Leather elevator handrail wraps genuine hide around a metal tube with hand-stitched construction throughout. Exposed metal ends and standoffs provide intentional design accent in luxury elevator interiors. Choose from 58 leather colors across ten color families, with base metals in stainless steel, brass, bronze, copper, or powder coated steel. Available in 1.25″ to 2″ diameters. ADA and ASME 17.1 compliant.

The Light elevator handrail integrates LED illumination within a recessed channel on the underside of the rail, casting ambient light downward onto the wall and floor below. A diffuser creates soft, even illumination without visible light points. This innovative design transforms elevator interiors with atmospheric lighting. Available in 1.5″ diameter in stainless steel or powder coated steel. ADA and ASME 17.1 compliant.

The Bridge elevator handrail features clear-span construction with end-mounted standoffs only—no intermediate wall penetrations along its length. This configuration is ideal for glass panel installations and premium elevator interiors where wall surface preservation matters. The 1.5″ round tube creates an uninterrupted line between endpoints. Offered in stainless steel, brass, bronze, or powder coated steel. ADA and ASME 17.1 compliant.

The Transit elevator handrail threads a 1.25″ round tube through solid cylindrical standoffs with flat front faces, providing full-circumference rail capture with an industrial aesthetic suited to contemporary elevator interiors. The machined flat termination distinguishes Transit from the rounded Catch design. Available in stainless steel, brass, bronze, copper, or powder coated steel. ADA and ASME 17.1 compliant.

The Catch elevator handrail passes a 1.25″ round tube through capture-style standoffs with rounded front faces, providing full-circumference rail security with a softer visual profile than the flat-faced Transit. The domed standoff termination creates refined character in elevator interiors. Offered in stainless steel, brass, bronze, copper, or powder coated steel with multiple finish options. ADA and ASME 17.1 compliant.

The Nest elevator handrail features organic standoffs with two curved appendages that cradle the 1.25″ round tube, providing full-circumference capture with minimal visual mass. This sculptural approach creates an airy aesthetic in elevator interiors while maintaining secure rail support. Available in stainless steel, brass, bronze, copper, or powder coated steel with brushed, mirror, or specialty finishes. ADA and ASME 17.1 compliant.

The Traverse elevator handrail extends a single curved appendage from wall to rail—our most minimal organic standoff design. This streamlined approach supports the 1.25″ round tube with the least possible visual presence in elevator interiors while maintaining full security. Available in stainless steel, brass, bronze, copper, or powder coated steel with multiple finish options. ADA and ASME 17.1 compliant.

The Grip elevator handrail passes a 1.25″ square tube through rectangular standoffs that encompass all four sides, creating the most enclosed design in our square rail series. This full-capture construction delivers maximum architectural presence in elevator interiors. Available in stainless steel, brass, bronze, copper, or powder coated steel with brushed, mirror, or specialty finishes. ADA and ASME 17.1 compliant.

The Truss elevator handrail positions its 1.25″ square tube within standoffs that capture approximately 50% of the front face—the middle option between Grip’s full enclosure and Press’s minimal contact. This balanced proportion suits elevator interiors requiring geometric presence without visual heaviness. Available in stainless steel, brass, bronze, copper, or powder coated steel. ADA and ASME 17.1 compliant.

The Press elevator handrail features standoffs machined to minimum material—no front capture and approximately 75% contact on top and bottom only. This creates the most open design in our square rail series, with the 1.25″ square tube appearing to float within the elevator interior. Offered in stainless steel, brass, bronze, copper, or powder coated steel. ADA and ASME 17.1 compliant.

The Channel elevator handrail features curved standoffs that wrap approximately 50% of the 1.25″ round tube—capturing top and bottom while leaving the front open. This partial-capture design creates a lighter, more accessible aesthetic in elevator interiors than fully enclosed alternatives. Offered in stainless steel, brass, bronze, copper, or powder coated steel. ADA and ASME 17.1 compliant.
